revisionism- #r8 Rot
"pomme Framboise" is "apple raspberry" in french... Anyway all good things must come to an end... or so they say. Rot.
This is both my painterly version of that clichéd symbol of cutting someone out of your photographs as well as a reflection on how fickle the feelings attached to memory are.
As a side note, this is painted from memory of what the first one looked like, I find it interesting that her one-armed-ness has shifted from left to right.. muh..

The revisionist installments are a series of re-reaction paintings to the events that occurred, or were occurring at, the time of their corresponding numerations. Painted for the five by seven show to fill in previously sold works, they are by not meant as repaintings of the original works, but rather, as expansions on the concepts of their pre-numbered associate.
