#55 Whoopee's Whoopee
I attended a lecture recently on 'pervasive art' which really got me critically thinking about my own work, it's direction, and the fact that an iconic character has been 'popping up' more and more in my pieces.
He sort of says "whoopee" out of the corner of my paintings when they're about things I like.
Anyhow, after a long stint of being a monogamously minded boyfriend I've been cast out into the forest to forage for myself.
I was originally thinking about expressing this through a painting of scantily clad women but since there aren't any of those actually in my life I decided on making whoopee instead.
This is a portrait of me walking down the street, looking for the ladies, as represented by Whoopee saying whoopee.
I think I'll call my art movement 'perversive art'.
