09/10/06 - #53 haha look at the looser It seems I have to retract a statement a I made quite some time ago. As mundane as these paintings were too be, I didn't imagine I'd ever be doing one on the topic of going to school and even said as much in my bio. Well, a year has passed and I find myself doing exactly that, Painting a piece about going to school. Starting tomorrow I'll be attending the Ontario College of Art and Design to get my BFA. It's really not that big a deal, I only need a few classes to up my college diploma to a university degree (semantics really, I know, and to Americans I think the terminology is different anyway). None the less, it should be a good thing and with these five by sevens finished I'll have a lot of previously accounted for time on my hands (labor of love). Anyway My one worry is that the kids will all laugh at me at and wonder who the old guy is (my other one worry is that my peers will laugh at me and wonder why I'm bothering). It's not even that I'm much older, but I've been paying attention to the kids lately and feel that, on the most part, the youth of today border on moronic. Oh, also, to explain the hairdo; I've been really into Dragonball Z these days (a show from my youth, back when media was about something real).
