whoa. How do you include enough steamers and whistles and balloons are elephant rides into one painting commemorating the completion of 52 weeks worth of weekly five by sevens paintings? They're all under there in the three other coats of paint below this image as I tried to figure out just how to express the feelings it stirred.
In the end, I've gone with a referential piece to #1; a portrait of a portrait of the artist at work. Note the stylistic contrast between the two pieces as my recent work captures and encapsulates the positive energy and magic that takes place at the exact moment of creation where as the previous piece captures what is going through my head the rest of the time
