#49 Fish Food Fun
One fish, two fish, three fish blue. Fried fish, squid fish, fun fish food.
A former teacher of mine back in school had a story of an illustrator who, during a period of great illustration recession, took out a double page spread in workbook full of pictures of fish. This carved out a niche market for him as the go-to-guy for fish illustrations from there on in.
Anyway, I've been enjoying the pleasures of miscellaneous canned fish products lately. Sprats, kippers, herring, and sardines, and mixed cans labeled 'seafood snack'. I bet if I go to china town I can find all kinds of new flavours. I figure too, to hell with worry about mercury levels, painting is going to take me out with cirrhosis of the eye long before anything else can catch up with me including a reputation.
