06/17/06 - #41 Wine Wine Wine
The continuing adventures of paintings of work.... I had to do extra shifts at work this week and as such haven't got much else to paint about.
Why don't I take this moment then to tell you all a little bit more about what I do.
I'm a wine snob. Well, I'm not really, but I play one at work. People ask me about wine and I, based on some logical deductions such as grape and region, start spewing of wine speak about it's austerity, or earthy tones, or rounded edges and such. I've learned that people believe anything you tell them if you seem confident about it, though in truth, all I'm doing is puppeting things I've heard the sommelier say, then again i can be confident 'cause she really knows her stuff, Anyway, this is in no way ment to be a commentary on wine or on sommelierdome, but, rather, a musing on life. Hmmm....
