04/12/06 - #32 Mf Doom is Mf Doom? Favorites are a silly thing. There's a time and a place for everything. There's Mood. There's whim. There's flavor of the moment. Mandre used to be my favorite music to make love to my old lady by but Radek has my record and you can't get it on cd. Peaches is my favorite music to listen to when I'm riding my bike to work. Thunderbirds Are Now was my favorite band last month for all of a week until I got tired of them. MF Doom has consistently been my favorite (off and on) music to listen to around the house while I'm doing other things (like painting 5x7's) for several years now. His latest album wasn't my favorite but by the time I've written this it won't be his latest album. I just got a collection of his off the internet. It contains 37 albums. He comes out with about five albums a year. I make 52 paintings a year. Does that make me the winner? Not until he writes a song about me.
