03/20/06 - #29 Fat Britney Spears A long time ago, back when I was a bright eyed art school student, I had a premonitory inspiration. It was at the height of Britney's career, she'd just gotten her breast implants, things were looking good for her, but I knew it couldn't last. I figured her's would be the old cliche of the failing star who gets naked and uses playboy to mount her comeback. My postulation was that I could do a pre-emptive piece which I could then have ready to run as stock imagery the day it was announced and make myself a mint. Anyway, my speculations failed to come true. Sure, her career did fail, but rather than get naked, she just got fat. This piece is staying in vein with 'the people in my neighborhood' paintings because I see her face in the trash magazines at the local store almost every day. Anyway, here's the piece I once did for the naked Britney Spears in Playboy concept. On a side note, I wonder how many people are now going to find themselves at my web page after googling "naked britney spears pictures".
